John Joe is a Screenwriter, Producer, and Media Creator. Born on the Southside of Chicago, he creates stories meant to entertain, inform, and affect.

Graduating from St. Norbert College in 2022 with a BA in Media and Communications, I chose to pursue an MA in Media Studies abroad in Ireland, graduating in 2023.

Some notable achievements of mine include:

• Being invited to Washington DC to speak at the Irish Ambassadors private residence about Irish - American partnership

• Receiving 1st degree honors for my dissertation screenplay Into an Emerald Fire from Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland

• Partnering with up and coming production company Area JB Entertainment to produce their first international film, Good Place for Goodbye, my second screenplay

• Joining the Steering Committee of the Chicago Irish Film Festival for their 26th year, helping shepherd rising talent in Ireland alongside high profile guests like former Irish President Mary Robinson.
